The answer is this, to be able to enjoy sex and reach orgasm your mind must be relatively free from tension, you body needs to maintain proper blood flow, and your endocrine system has got to retain proper hormonal balance. Maca Root: Maca root, also an adaptogen, has been used for centuries by the Inca’s and indigenous people of Peru to balance hormones, promote fertility, and increase energy. One scoop in your morning smoothie, and you will feel that extra pep-in-you-step. There are two different types of Maca powder on the market: red and black. Better Sex Tonic: 

Serving: 4 cups

Equipment: 1 quart ball jar, muddler

Ingredients: 

  • 3 1/2 cups spring or filtered water
  • Juice from one lemon, plus the whole lemon to throw in
  • 2 droppers full of Ashwagand root tincture
  • 2 droppers full of Maca root tincture
  • 2 droppers full of Asian Ginseng tincture
  • 1 stem of fresh tarragon
  • 1 stem of fresh basil
  • 3 tablespoons blueberry concentrate
  • 2 teaspoons Manuka honey

Instructions: 

1. In a large ball jar, juice the lemon and throw the whole lemon into the jar.

2. Add the fresh herbs, and muddle for one minute.

3. Pour the spring water and blueberry concentrate into the jar.

4. Drop the tinctures into the water.

5. Measure out the Manuka honey and add to the jar’s contents.

6. Tightly, screw the lid onto the ball jar, and shake the jar.

7. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

8. The tonic keeps in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
